v0.8.2 Release notes

More polish, more power!

This release brings a brand-new text engine, project import/export, a smoother template install flow from the website, and a faster, more reliable workflow under the hood.

Text rendering perfected

Text rendering has received massive improvements. Better font searching and listing. Support for variable axes and more secure support for styles. We’ve also introduced support for text effects including dynamic arching.

Improved export pane and gif support

Export pane now allows more options for rendering output and has received stability and visual updates. Gif rendering is now supported with granular control to reduce file output size and warnings when breaking boundaries of what’s reasonable as far as gifs go.

Import & export project files

Project files can now be selectively exported to a single packed file and imported on any other machine or project – perfect for sharing work, moving between computers or projects, or keeping backups.

Know the cost before you run

Credit cost is now displayed on inner workflow nodes and on Execute all, so you always know what a run will cost before you hit the button.

Extract clip node

Allows you to quickly extract a clip from a video, making using clips for example for dubbing, lipsyncing or running other operations on much smoother.

Compare node

Compare A/B video or image outputs directly in the workflow. Supports synced scrubbing as well as horizontal or vertical display modes.

Flip node

Quickly flip videos or images inside the workflow. Set the direction to either Vertical or perhaps Horizontal… To fix some cuts “some” models sometimes tend to make breaking the 180-degree rule.

Other fixes

  • Faster, smoother loading.
  • Improved search functionality in context menus.
  • Improved save reliability during rapid changes.
  • Improved microphone permission handling.
  • Rename workflow input and output ports directly in the node inspector.
  • Fixed items in workflows being incorrectly marked as needing execution.
  • Bug fixes and improvements.
